Harold en quelques mots

Formerly a journalist in the defense & security sector and then a marketing manager in the theme park sector, Harold has a rich international background. It was in 2017 that he fully embarked on the blockchain and web3 sector, first as a consultant and then head of communications at Daneel.io, a French startup that raised $2M in ICO in early 2018 for the development of an AI capable of creating new market indicators for traders on crypto markets. From Paris, station F, and the first European blockchain project incubator Chain Accelerator, he gained a lot of experience in a short period of time before coming back to Belgium to create Be Blockchain SRL in late 2019, a blockchain consulting and development company. We quickly became a key player in Belgium and the logical next step was the launch of WalChain, the official business network of the Walloon region that brings together the government, universities, clusters and private players. Considered as "Mr Blockchain" in Wallonia, he is a columnist on LN24 (Belgian livenews channel) and he is solicited for many conferences and workshops (including the European Interreg programme). Blockchain technology constitutes a new disruption in the way of exchanging value across the internet. The vision of blockchain is a new web owned by users for more privacy, transparency and security.
The company co-founded the official business blockchain network in Wallonia whose mission is to raise awareness of new blockchain technologies, to create vocations in this ecosystem, to help project leaders and to create synergies between public, private, academic and institutional actors.
Be Blockchain is responsible for the d-event project, an ecosystem for managing ticketing and cashless in the event industry, which was the first blockchain project to receive institutional funding in 2020 from the WING by Digital Wallonia fund.


Be Blockchain brings together highly complementary entrepreneurs and Web3 experts. The management team is made up of 3 co-founders, each specialized in their sector, namely cyber security, finance and business development. With a strong experience in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency, the team has already led several projects related to the sector, including INO, ICOs and TGE in Europe. With these partners, Be Blockchain is able to manage a complex Web3 innovation project from ideation to development. Although specialised in Fintech and creative industries, notably linked to the main product under development, namely d-event, a trustless platform for managing ticketing and cashless in the event industry, the company is active in various sectors such as the diamond industry, DID/SSI (decentralized identity / Self-sovereign identity) management and cyber security.
