Cristiano Barberis

I’ve been working in Schneider Electric since 1998 covering different positions in Operational Marketing, Global Product Management & R&D. In 2015 I took over the responsibility of a Regional Business Development in Middle East, Central Asia and Africa based in Istanbul for MV switchgears and LV components subsequently. After a long period in the Business Unit, I decided to give a turn to my carreer by jumping into a highly growing business as Global Services. I took the responsibility in a Schneider Transformation Program to grow services thru Partners. I've been recently nominated as marketing League Leader for Modernization, Consulting & Spare Parts with the objective to contribute to set a vision of the League to the management.

I have an engineer degree in Industrial Automation and a full understanding of product lifecycle, project & product development, quality and manufacturing processes and moreover OEM’s and Energy markets.

While much of my experience has been in the marketing domain, I understand the value of the Business Development, Product Engineering and Manufacturing Processes as well.

Experience taught me how to build strong relationships with all departments in my organization. I have the ability to manage a team, In my previous position I covered 5 years management within marketing and R&D in Medium Voltage.

My responsibilities included the preparation of business and operational plans, definition of sales targets and promotional actions trough all the sales channels.

I worked closely with Global Supply Chain in cost reduction projects and P&L management in order to reach the productivity targets foreseen in the company processes.

I experienced in business support with the main objective of improve countries competencies, boost marketing in order to reach sales and Gross Margin targets.
