STET is a major European payment processor working primarily for the French and Belgian banking communities, with over 36 billion transactions processed in 2024.

The role of Director of the Project Management Office at STET is to oversee the planning, budgeting, and reporting for IT changes with a specific focus on Cyber security. By managing a large budget and leading a team of 11 project managers, it ensures successful project outcomes that align with organizational goals.

Key activities:

• Follow-up & coordinate the action plan of IT leaders in line with IT Production strategy of the company;

• Framing of projects and initiatives pertaining to STET production operations;

• Set-up and follow budget & cost for the IT Production build stream (#8M€ per year);

• Prepare and participate to governance instances (OpCos, SteerCos);

• Regulatory compliance (ECB, BDF, PCI DSS, ANSSI);

• Organize workshops to get teams alignment on needs & processes;

• Set-up project timeline, indicators & follow-up projects progress;

• Report progresses, identify risks & raise projects alerts to the stakeholders;

• Animate the community and capitalize on knowledge & skills.

Tenures in Safety & Trust, a global BNP Paribas CIB cyberdefense program:

• Program Director for production security;

• Project Manager for cloud security.

The Safety & Trust program of CIB aims at ensuring a secure, resilient and sustainable framework (composed of objectives, strategy and means toward 2025, regulators and Group expectations, upgrade of the platform to match the standards in this playing field notably US market).

Structure and pillars:

(1) IT Fundamentals (asset management and inventory, specific US regulators requirements);

(2) Cybersecurity (cyberdefense, attack and cyber fraud prevention, specific regulators requirements);

(3) Operational Resilience (Liveplay industrialization, data bunker & critical asset recovery, continuity enforcement, specific regulators requirements);

(4) Surveillance (FX DMA, trade and voice surveillance, record keeping). The whole Safety & Trust program encompasses 62 major projects. The prioritization on a risk-based approach and roadmap was delivered by the beginning of 2022 after being syndicated with the group IT.

Key activities:

• Follow-up & coordinate the action plan of IT security leaders in line with IT Sec strategy of the Group;

• Framing of projects and initiatives pertaining to Safety & Trust program and CIB production security;

• Set-up and follow budget & cost for the cybersecurity stream (#10M€ per year);

• Prepare and participate to governance instances (OpCos, SteerCos);

• Regulatory compliance (NIS, NIST, FFIEC, DORA, IG, ECB, DFS, MAS, HKMA);

• Organize workshops to get teams alignment on needs & processes;

• Set-up project timeline, indicators & follow-up projects progress;

• Advise & propose solution to facilitate the implementation of the strategy;

• Report progresses, identify risks & raise projects alerts to the stakeholders;

• Animate the community and capitalize on knowledge & skills.
