• Drove Regulatory Compliance Excellence: Leading Uber's Regulatory Operations to ensure compliance with complex regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions (such as EU Omnibus Directive, Platform to Work directive, UK OSA, country licensing conditions) with direct ownership of rider and driver safety operations, earner document compliance, legal and privacy operations, driver unions management, liaison with members of Parliament's and local regulators.

• Strategic Risk Management & Regulatory Reporting: Responsible for oversight on end-to-end risk management and supporting country-level external audits by regulators that are critical to ensuring operating licences. Overhauled Uber's mobility risk management system by creating three lines of defence, internal policy creation and management system, effective QA capabilities, regulatory change management system, and enforcement guidelines. Have completed twelve country level audits identifying and rectifying licensing condition breaches and keeping the overall operational error rate below 2%.

• Designed and implemented a comprehensive, end-to-end regulatory compliance strategy for Uber, covering safety, privacy, AI governance, and payments. Focused on developing KPIs for regulatory experience and building a robust system for tracking regulatory sentiment through proactive outreach and relationship building.

• Tech and tooling: Developed AI-based risk detection and automated control implementation tools and embedded more than 15 AI-based automated workflows which drove an overall 42% automation rate ($25MM in OPEX savings) in regulatory operations with a key focus on CX management and workflow accuracy.

• Resource Management & Team Development: Leading a high-performing regulatory team of regional heads, Sr. Managers, Managers, associates, SMEs, BPOs, and 3P consultants across the UK and EMEA, responsible for team development, driving a collaborative growth culture, P&L management, and KPI management.

Trust and Safety Program Leadership: Developed and led an enterprise-wide Trust and Safety program, establishing policies, guidelines, and a cross-functional team for policy management and the detection and enforcement of illegal content across services.

Operational & AI/ML Efficacy Improvements: Achieved an 82% reduction in enforcement time for high-risk, illegal user-generated content (UGC). Improved AI/ML risk detection model efficacy by 45% YoY by launching new models for illegal UGC detection on images and texts, in partnership with data and engineering teams.

Business Enablement & Compliance: Managed compliance onboarding for high-risk merchant verticals and partnerships, securing an expected $175MM in revenue and decreasing onboarding time by 30% in six months. Led the "Compliance by Design" initiative, enabling the launch of 12 global and US products/features with an expected average revenue growth of 15% per product.

Global Regulatory Compliance: Led the scoping, design, execution, and delivery of compliance solutions for major regulations, including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), UK Online Safety Bill (OSB), and AU Online Safety Act. • Led EMEA Upstream Product Safety Controls program, which owned proactive identification and mitigation of customer and regulatory risk covering all non-media and non-food products sold in the EMEA region.

• Led creation of, at that time, the biggest product listing classifier in Amazon with more than 1.3BN ASINs classified across 9 product categories in 8 months to prevent business impact from 'EU Goods Package' regulation.

• Led large-scale proactive controls projects in the EU while safeguarding 33% (over $3BN) of sales impact.

• Oversaw development of AI/ML-based product risk detection models responsible for providing high-confidence ASIN-level risk profiling on products currently on sale in the EU catalogue.

• Managed external product consultants responsible for providing critical inputs on product compliance policy and products in scope of specific regulations.
