The company was scaling this tool into a B2B product for other recycling businesses, and I was invited to support client onboarding during this scale-up phase.During the internship my task was to join the process after an initial sales contact was established and:
- Map the standard client journey from first demo to go-live and maintain Excel trackers with meetings, statuses and stakeholders for all prospects.
- Schedule and organise online product presentations, send invitations and reminders, and host Zoom conferences, moderating Q&A and routing specialised questions to the right internal experts.
- Record outcomes of each interaction and provide structured input for contract preparation and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate technical onboarding: connect client IT specialists with the internal tech team, monitor progress on integrations, access rights and configuration.
- Collect regular feedback after launch, log issues related to payouts and user accounts, and pass them to relevant teams to improve service quality.
As a result, the company obtained a clearer, repeatable process for onboarding new B2B clients, with fewer communication gaps between sales, technical teams and customers, and a faster transition from initial interest to active use of the system.
