Fabian De Smet

Hi, I’m Fabian, a Belgian freelance motion designer/2D animator, and type designer.

My passion is to craft engaging, design-driven animation or typography for anyone with a wild idea and a message to move.

Before going freelance, I worked in advertising agencies and visual studios, diving into graphic design, creative advertising, art direction, typography and motion design. With over 10 years of experience, that journey shaped the way I approach creative challenges from every angle.

Today, I focus on creating high-quality and technically sharp projects with personality. Whether the brief calls for sleek minimalism or bold experimentation, I’m all in.

When I’m not pushing keyframes, kerning glyphs, or geeking out over new tools, I’m probably chasing new experiences or wandering somewhere off the grid. I believe creativity often comes from diving into the unknown.
