- American University in Cairo (AUC),Research Scientist / Data Analystjanvier 2012 - janvier 2015 (3 ans)EgyptJoint Egypt–USA research project on the climate impact of biogenic and anthropogenic atmospheric aerosols over Egypt.• • Acquired and analysed 12 years (2003–2014) of MODIS and MISR satellite retrievals — multi-million-point time series datasets — and characterised seasonal and annual trends in aerosol optical depth and effective radius.• • Applied HYSPLIT backward and forward trajectory modelling to investigate aerosol transport pathways.• • Outreach: led production of an education activity book and two bilingual videos (English/Arabic); presented results at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and USAID Cairo; co-led a team of 10–15 contributors organising Egypt's National Science Month across 20+ institutions.
