Stealth startup

Technical Consultant - En tant que freelance

Leveraging this new AI trend with GPT-3 this customer wants to follow the steps of AvatarAI to allow end-users to send AI generated postcards for each life occasion (birthday, wedding, christmas, etc.)

The web app was built using Next.js (Typescript, React & Bulma) on the frontend and Supabase (Postgres) as the backend. With the API hosted on Vercel serverless functions.

Integration with OpenAI's GPT3 DALL-E and Davinci completion API were made to generate images and postcard messages.

This MVP was built in 2 weeks and successfully launched on ProductHunt https://www.producthunt.com/products/postedby-ai

The customer is a FinTech startup providing payday loan to end-users. They needed to improve the overall business operations by automating user approvals and loan approvals.

My responsibilities include improving business operation and setting technical direction by removing technical debt and improving code quality.

To minimize time spent on internal tooling I implemented a approval dashboard using Retool connecting to our Postgres database.

The customer is a dating app for people on the spectrum. Their development were stopped by immense technical debt and infrastructure costs.

I helped them migrate the backend from Firebase to a scalable architecture on GCP that I designed. The new backend was deployed as Cloud Run containers with the API using Hasura in combination with Cloud SQL Postgres to produce a uniform Graphql API.

We successfully minimized operation costs and increased developer productivity.

My responsibilities were backend focused. I designed the backend infrastructure based on Hasura with Postgres database to provide a consistent Graphql API that allows the customer to interface with external APIs that provides football data.

Cofounder of Grandpal we were building tools to help families take better care of their ageing parents.

Being the CTO I was responsible for designing the technical architecture and managing the development team of 4 fullstack developers.

We built a React web app allowing the end-user to schedule tasks and coordinate around their loved ones. The backend was built on top of GCP with Cloud Run, Cloud SQL Postgres and PostGraphile Graphql API.

Grandpal was part of the Techstars Berlin 2020 batch.

Led the development of an Android real-time social quiz game for smartphones and tablets. Created the firm real-time communication architecture between players using Node.js and Websocket, supporting both Android and iOS versions of the game.
