HiFiBiO, founded by 7 scientific and commercial partners is specialized in the ultra-high throughput, single-cell and function-based screening of antibody secreting cells using droplet-based microfluidics and next generation sequencing (NGS) for drug discovery. Thanks to single-cell barcoding, full antibody sequences from the sorted B-cells are generated, simplifying and speeding up the process of drug discovery. HiFiBiO also focuses on the epigenetic cartography at the single-cell level using ChIP-Seq in droplets. I am specifically involved in the screening of antigen-specific antibody secreting lymphocytes, including bioassay development for different targets and animal species and adapted to droplets, cell isolation and preparation, droplets production and sorting of droplets containing antigen-specific antibody secreting cells. I am also involved in the quality control of the different critical steps of the process as well as the constant research and development needed to increase productivity and robustness of the process.
