Simon Tietze

I help companies build production ML systems from concept to deployment — computer vision, predictive modeling, and edge infrastructure. Over the past 20 years, I've repeatedly taken on unfamiliar domains (medical video analysis, wireless signal detection, population modeling, molecular docking), learned the problem space, and shipped working systems.

My sweet spot is applied computer vision: object detection, tracking, action segmentation, video foundation models, multi-camera systems, and edge deployment on constrained hardware. I own the full arc — problem scoping, architecture design, model development, optimization, and fleet operations.

My work has been published in Nature Medicine and Science.
