Robert Sahakyan

I'm a full-stack software developer based in Paris, working with a wide range of organisations: start-ups, co-ops, and non-profits on a range of projects.

These days, I’m comfortable working across the full stack, from frontend interfaces to backend systems, APIs, and database interactions. Whilst I have worked across multiple domains, my recent experience has crystallised around web-development in its fullest scope. I enjoy learning new tools when they’re a good fit, while keeping things practical and reliable. I’m especially drawn to work with a positive social impact — through open-source, communities, or mission-driven teams — but above all I value building software that genuinely helps the people using it.

Recently I've been working extensively within the Javascript/Node ecosystem (Express, Nextjs, React, Typescript) as well as self-hosting via Hetzner/Cloudron. I also have experience with Java (Spring Boot) and other tools and frameworks (see web profile for details).
