Prophesee (French Tech 120 Program) is the creator of a new type of visual sensor: Event-Based
camera system. Inspired by human vision, the sensor paved the way of hardware neuromorphic
engineering.
● Core contributor of Metavision SDK (a C++/Python framework to drive Event-Based cameras
developed in-house by the company): data latency reduction using USB packet pre-fetch,
memory footprint reduction using data drop heuristics. CPU offload through GPU computation
with shaders programming.
● Development of a new product : Metavision Starter kit: system integration using Yocto, V4l2, SDK
software ported to Arm64 architecture, x4 data throughput optimization using multithreading.
● Maintenance and release of OpenEB, the open-source version of Metavision (188⭐ on Github).
● Managed a team up to 4, conducting daily follow-ups, weekly one-on-ones, bi-annual-reviews

● Led a team of 7, in developing Navitia, an open-source transit journey planning software
handling ~10 million daily requests through a RESTful API.
● Contributed to new features, including external connectors and API endpoints, and optimized
C++ core services to reduce response times and memory usage.
● Enhanced web services in Python/Go by reducing request latency and increasing parallelism.
● Promoted best coding practices through CI, TDD, code reviews, and improved team organization
with Scrum methodologies.
● Enhanced tools for continuous deployment, site reliability metrics, and platform monitoring.
