At UMR CNRS 6134, I focused on isolating and characterizing bioactive compounds extracted from medicinal plants. I employed advanced techniques such as gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC-FID) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to identify and quantify the chemical constituents. Additionally, I interpreted NMR spectra (¹H and ¹³C) to elucidate the structures of the major compounds. My work contributed to a deeper understanding of the phytochemical properties and potential biological activities of these extracts.

At LASNABIO, my research focused on the extraction of bioactive natural products from three Algerian medicinal plants. I conducted phytochemical studies, working to isolate and identify key compounds with potential biological activities. My role also involved designing and optimizing extraction protocols, as well as mentoring Master's students on experimental techniques and scientific analysis within the lab environment. This stage of the research was essential for identifying the most promising extracts for further characterization.
