I am a full-stack developer specializing in Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks, helping companies build and maintain reliable web platforms. My work focuses on delivering production-ready features, improving system performance, and ensuring long-term maintainability.

Most recently, I contributed to one of Japan’s largest platforms connecting volunteers, staff, and part-time workers with NPOs and social enterprises. The platform helps people who want to make a difference reach organizations in need, ensuring that support flows where it matters most. Within a small development team, I designed and implemented features that improved platform functionality and internal workflows, allowing the team to release updates more efficiently.

I also led the vulnerability-management process, helping maintain the security and stability of the production environment. In addition, I managed a major framework upgrade from Ruby 2.5 / Rails 5.2 to Ruby 3 / Rails 7, resolving compatibility issues and delivering the migration on schedule.

On the frontend side, I spearheaded the migration from the Sprockets asset pipeline to esbuild, enabling a modern JavaScript workflow and better support for React while keeping the codebase clean and maintainable.

Beyond my professional work, I built FrenchPen.work, an AI-assisted platform that provides advanced feedback and analysis for learners preparing for French exams such as TCF and DELF. The project strengthened my ability to design systems end-to-end and deploy practical solutions independently. I have also learnt how to integrate LLM into an application.
