- In charge of financial planning and accounting for the North American business unit (BU) which generated $50m of sales in 2021 across 3 distribution channels: retail (50 locations), wholesale and ecommerce - Group under LBO with HLD (previously L-Catterton)

- Financial planning & reporting: (i) created a detailed budget (P&L and cash flow) and a 3-year BP (ii) owned the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting processes (iii) established P&Ls by distribution channel to challenge the teams (iv) optimized EBITDA by identifying unnecessary cost items and inefficient processes.

- Accounting: (i) rebuilt all the accounting of the BU to meet the standards required by the HQ (analytical vision by store / channel, Fx impacts, detailed accounts) (ii) oversaw monthly-end and year-end closing of accounts (iii) reviewed sales and income tax statements, (iv) assisted the external auditors (EY) in their audits (v) implemented and used new softwares (quickbooks online, yooz)

- Strategic projects: (i) prepared financial projections for new store openings (+20 stores to open by 2025), (ii) took part in the buy-out process of the company by HLD (iii) reviewed contracts signed with key partners/suppliers (department stores, shipping companies)

- Management: (i) hired, trained and managed two people (1 accountant and 1 business analyst) (ii) oversaw and validated the work of the two external accounting partners (1 in the US and 1 in Canada)

- Rotations in 4 departments: Transaction Services, Restructuring, Valuation and Corporate Finance (M&A)

- 25 projects delivered: financial due diligences (15), financial modeling (6), company valuation (2) M&A (2)

- Selected projects: (i) buy side due diligence for PAI partners acquiring the bottler Refresco for €1.6Bn (ii) sell side due diligence for Ardian selling a 50% stake in the car park operator Indigo to Mirova (iii) valuation of the watch brands Tag Hauer and Zenith for LVMH, (iv) fundraising of €35.0m for the creation of a luxury hotel complex in the suburbs of Paris (v) cash flow forecast modeling for a group of 20 restaurants in Paris

- Worked on a variety of industries and on businesses of all sizes (from SMEs to listed companies)

- Interactions with top management, shareholders, bankers and consulting firms

- Analyse financière, négociation avec les contreparties, participation à la rédaction de la documentation juridique (SPA, TSA ect)

- Coordonner les conseils externes (banque d'affaires, Big4, cabinets d'avocats) et les équipes internes (juridique, contrôle de gestion comptabilité, opérationnels)

- Exemple de projets réalisés : (i) cession d'une division à un concurrent (200 m€ de CA) (ii) cession d'une activité portuaire à un concurrent (iii) levée de fonds de 8 m€ auprès de 250 particuliers (iv) construction d'un business plan pour l'ouverture d'une brasserie (v) construction d'un modèle financier pour racheter un réseau de distribution agroalimentaire
