In this project, I designed and delivered an end‑to‑end Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solution using Microsoft Fabric, helping stakeholders turn raw data into actionable insights.

Project Overview

The objective was to centralize data from multiple sources, clean and model it efficiently, and provide interactive, business‑ready dashboards that support data‑driven decision‑making. The solution emphasized scalability, performance, and governance using Microsoft’s modern analytics platform.

What I Did

Ingested and centralized data from multiple structured and semi‑structured sources using Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines and Lakehouse

Designed a clean, scalable data architecture following best practices for analytics workloads

Implemented data transformation and cleansing logic to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability

Built optimized semantic models to support analytical queries and reporting

Applied business logic, calculated measures, and KPIs aligned with stakeholder requirements

Ensured performance optimization for large datasets

Developed interactive Power BI dashboards within Microsoft Fabric

Translated complex datasets into clear, intuitive visuals for executive and operational users

Enabled self‑service analytics to empower business teams

Applied role‑based access controls to protect sensitive business data

Reduced manual reporting efforts and improved decision‑making speed

Conducted data modeling and ETL processes to prepare and transformdata from multiple sources. Optimized DAX queries and data models to enhance report performance and responsiveness. Designed and developed interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize GWP, claims, loss ratios, and producer performance over five-year periods. Integrated complex datasets including Treaty Type, Region, Sub Region, COB, and Cedants for strategic decision-making. Built performance scorecards for top producers, cedants, and markets enabling leadership to track KPIs and identify growth opportunities. Built a Retail Performance Dashboard for enabling tracking of sales trends, profit margins, best-selling categories, and customer behavior. Created data models and visuals for daily/monthly/yearly performance using slicers, cards, bar charts, and trendlines. Delivered custom reports and cost analysis tools to support strategic planning for SME's
