Luana Carrera

Luana Carrera is a versatile international artist with a background in musical theatre, acting, singing, and visual arts. Originally from Brazil and raised in Spain, she is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, and English, with a working knowledge of French. With a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre and a Bachillerato in Arts, Luana brings over 20 years of experience to her artistic practice, including performance, visual arts, translation, design, and teaching.

Luana’s artistic journey began with ballet at age three and acting at age six, followed by extensive training in singing, acting, ballet, jazz, tap, commercial, and hip-hop. She performs in pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, and classical genres, offering coaching in acting, singing, and dance to help students explore their abilities with a focus on technique and confidence.

Her credits as a performer include Character and Parade Performer at Disneyland Paris (2023–2024) in productions like A Million Splashes of Colour, Margot in Legally Blonde (Double A Productions), and Lila Dixon in Holiday Inn, directed by Broadway director Andy Señor Jr. She also voiced Miúda in the animated film Miúda e o Guarda-Chuva. Luana contributed as a soloist in And The World Goes Round, directed by Rob Foley, and designed the logo and t-shirts for the show. In 2023-2024, she taught jazz, ballet, and acrobatics to children and is currently expanding her skills in film production at The Reel Scene London.

Beyond performance, Luana is skilled in visual arts, including drawing, painting, and design. She has sold her artwork independently and contributes to various creative projects. Luana’s translation work includes being a translator at the Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya, assisting a Brazilian director. She has also worked on editing short films, music videos, and creative writing, winning competitions for her texts.
