The 6-month intensive program is designed to train data translators with a focus on practical applications of business analytics and big data. 6-month consulting project for Engie (within Accenture Strategic Business Analytics Chair): modelling of financial opportunity loss due to outages and maintenance work for gas-fired plants Modelled running regimes and financial opportunity loss for 8 gas-fired power plants (NL, Belgium, France) using Python:

• Cleaned and prepared a 6-year historical dataset

• Monitored plant running regime, drafted an ideal running regime and then integrated outages and maintenance work for comparison (energy production and revenue generated) Created a dashboard on Power BI: 4 tabs and over 20 KPIs for a global overview of energy production and revenue generation; implemented the dashboard on Engie internal data environment Business value: justification of insurance claims and future investment decisions to prevent unavailabilities and financial optimization of outage planning for the plant fleet Pitched the use case 4 times: Grand Jury with sponsors, coaches and chair members, Accenture, Engie and Data4Good Engie event (C-level and data teams)
