Kriti Gupta

I’m an Applied Scientist and AI researcher with over 3 years of experience building and deploying machine learning and NLP solutions at scale. My work focuses on Large Language Models (LLMs), explainable AI, and knowledge distillation, where I bridge research and production to create efficient, interpretable, and high-performing systems.

I’ve led multiple end-to-end projects. From designing LLM-powered smart composition and chatbot systems used by enterprise clients, to developing lead scoring models and explainable sales prediction frameworks that increased model transparency and business trust.

Currently completing my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh, my dissertation research involved designing a distillation pipeline for translation tasks, fine-tuning open-source LLMs, and analyzing model reliability, work I’m now preparing for publication.
