    My role in New Concepts - 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing
    (2018-2019)

        ▪ Lead engineering and design activities of 3D printed surgical scaffolds and
    their respective implantation accessories for peripheral nerve repair.
        ▪ Identified and fine-tuned 3D Printing machine capability for consistent
    production of micron-scale parts with proprietary polymer.
        ▪ Designed, produced, and assessed 100s of research batches for pre-
    clinical studies.
        ▪ Helped the team grow from 2 to 5 people.
        ▪ Boosted the company expertise on Additive Manufacturing for Innovative Design and Production

    My role in New Concepts - Sealant and Adhesive
    (2016-2017)

        ▪ Lead the activities related to the design of accessories to deliver TISSIUM
    sealants and adhesives in surgery.
        ▪ Performed pre-clinical studies design, planification, logistics,
    execution and reporting to help take high stake corporate decisions.
        ▪ Helped the team grow from 2 to 5 people.

    The Karp Laboratory is dedicated to create state-of-the-art therapeutic solutions using advanced biomaterials and devices while taking a highly multidisciplinary approach.

    My work was highly focused on the development of medical devices (drug and stem cells delivery) for projects led by Girish Chitnis, PhD.

    I responded to clinical needs by developing several proof-of-concept medical devices for surgery and therapeutic agents delivery in collaboration with world-renowned clinicians from Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital and the Schepens Eye Research Institute of Mass. Eye and Ear.

        ▪ Medical Gel Applicator for dry nose
        ▪ Medical Device for Thyroid Surgery

    My work included understanding clinical needs, rapidly iterating conceptual designs, analytical modeling, CAD design, prototyping and ex-vivo testing. Some of the projects advanced towards pre-clinical testing.
