What I actually do

Front-end referent on high-stakes platforms (public Front-Office and secured Back-Office). Vue 3 / Composition API architecture: shared component library, clear scope boundaries, router-level access control (public FO routes, JWT and role checks for the BO, clean guards). Daily code reviews focused on knowledge sharing, not just gatekeeping. Multi-environment maintenance all the way to production, with direct DB operations in prod when the client needs them. CFT pipelines and crons between apps and external partners, with intermediate file-enrichment steps. Roadmap discussions, Jira prioritization and technical trade-offs with the client.

Senior Backend Engineer : Java / Spring Boot / Hexagonal Architecture

Mission centered on a centralized communication manager for the insurance sector: integrating internal APIs, the client's proprietary libraries and legacy systems, while bringing modern architecture practices to the codebase.

Architecture & design

Designed and implemented a centralized communication manager in Java / Spring Boot, integrating internal APIs and the client's proprietary libraries with PostgreSQL. Reworked the legacy codebase into a 3-layer hexagonal architecture with full use cases, cleanly separated responsibilities and a maintainable codebase. API-First approach: every REST endpoint designed, documented and tested through Swagger before implementation, to keep the team aligned and the contracts honest.

Communication services (automotive insurance)

Services handling notifications, customer communications, emails and system alerts across the platform. Each communication type evolves independently from the others.

Data & legacy integration

Integrated the client's specific Oracle JDBC connector, securing two-way communication with legacy systems. Designed and optimized the schema: performant structures, migration and conversion of the existing dataset, without losing data fidelity or performance between the modern Spring side and the legacy Oracle side.

Event-driven & resilience

Kafka-orchestrated tracking system to guarantee traceability and resilience across the flows between microservices. No event lost silently: every step traceable, every failure visible.

Client standards

Fast mastery of the legacy codebase, internal libraries and custom annotations. Being productive fast inside someone else's conventions matters more than imposing your own.

Fullstack Engineer: Angular / Java Spring / JSP/JSF

Mission centered on network and microwave communication tools: building end-to-end features across modern front-ends, legacy Java back-ends and heavy SQL processing, with a strong performance and security angle throughout.

Backend & legacy integration (Java, Spring, JSP, JSF, PL/SQL, Swagger)

Took part in full-stack solutions covering the data layer, security and PL/SQL integration with legacy Oracle databases. Worked on the legacy JSF side too, including its built-in charting components: limited and quirky by modern standards, but the right pragmatic choice for some older screens that didn't justify a full front-end rewrite. Integrated modern interfaces with the legacy Java systems through Spring, without breaking what already worked. API design, documentation and testing through Swagger, with the technical standards documented on Confluence so they outlived me on the project.

Frontend: Angular (main UI)

Set up the front-end architecture for the network and microwave communication apps: responsive interfaces in Angular, clean component structure and consistent styling. Translated complex client requirements into technical specs, with a proactive approach to UX rather than just delivering wireframes 1:1.
