Research Software Engineer
• Designed a microchip based on ARM & RISC-V architectures for AI applications in self-driving cars.
• Developed hybrid virtual prototyping solutions allowing the simulation of the complete system via standardized co-simulation interfaces, and validation of the hardware designed on platform based on RISC-V and ARM.
• Developed machine learning and computer vision applications (C++, Python) for the new designed microchip.
• State of the art technology and intellectual property of created software and hardware won €700k prize in 2019.
• Developed, tested, and validated applications in Python 3.6/3.7/3.8 and C++11/14/17 for self-driving cars, in an Agile environment across distributed systems.
• Developed the power consumption estimation of cyber physical systems using Unsupervised Learning (Clustering) techniques. Developed TCP-IP sockets for LAN communication between self-driving cars in HIL (Hardware in the Loop), using GPU's.
• Cooperated along with cross-functional hardware and software Engineering teams in a self-driving cars’ joint lab.
• Some results of my work were presented & published in the “30th International Workshop on Rapid System Prototyping (RSP'19)” Conference on October 17–18, 2019 in New York, NY, USA. This scientific paper highlights critical improvements of a fast virtual prototyping method for hardware and software co-validation through co-simulation of Cyber-Physical Systems, applied to the case of Self-Driving Cars.
• Submitted a scientific paper, published and presented results in a conference in New York, NY, USA.
