As a Business Intelligence Architect, I am responsible for defining the target BI architecture, ensuring consistent data models, and aligning analytics solutions with the company’s data strategy. I act as a bridge between business stakeholders, BI analysts, data engineers and data governance teams to deliver reliable, well-documented and sustainable BI solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Define enterprise-wide data modeling guidelines and best practices for BI Analysts.
- Specify technical data integration rules and patterns for Data Engineers (ETL/ELT standards, naming conventions, data quality checks, error handling, performance).
- Review and validate BI Functional Analysis (BI FA) deliverables to ensure alignment with the BI architecture and business requirements.
- Set up and standardize the documentation framework produced by BI Analysts, including:
- source-to-target specifications
- mapping sheets
- data model schemas (Miro, Sparx, etc.)
- data dictionaries and business glossaries
- Provide support to the Data Governance team (data ownership, critical data elements, data quality rules, stewardship processes).
- Build, maintain and evolve the corporate Conceptual Information Model (CIM – Level 0 & Level 1).
- Promote BI and data architecture best practices through coaching, design reviews and documentation.
