At the European Commission, I led three significant projects. First, I spearheaded the Folio project, focused on attendance and registration management. My responsibilities included complete application refactoring, feature development, and successful production de-ployment.

The second project involved developing a Call Preparation System that streamlines how Commission and Joint Undertaking coordinators prepare proposal calls. This system automates the publication process on the Funding & Tenders Portal and integrates sea-mlessly with the submission lifecycle system.

Finally, I contributed to the Funding & Tenders Portal, a public platform connecting stake-holders with Commission opportunities. This portal facilitates access to project funding, procurement opportunities, and expert evaluator positions for funded projects.

I led a comprehensive modernization initiative to transform legacy Java-based bookkeeping and offline banking applications. I spearheaded the migration from outdated frameworks to a modern tech stack, implementing a microservices architecture. The new solution features an Angular frontend interfacing with a Spring Boot 3 backend through RESTful APIs. I successfully developed a proof of concept using Thymeleaf, demonstra-ting improved system performance and maintainability. This transformation enhanced both user experience and system reliability while ensuring seamless inter-process communication.

This project's primary objective is to modernize and optimize the end-to-end process of collecting and distributing social contributions through cutting-edge technology imple-mentation. The scope encompasses streamlining data collection, automating payment processing, and enhancing distribution systems to ensure efficient fund allocation.
