I launched the RTB activity (« Real-Time Bidding », real-time auctions for online advertisements) as an architect. Started from a small team, using SCRUM methodology, my role evolved to tech lead of a 5+ people team. The activity now generates many billions of auctions per month. In the Business Rules Engine team, I was in charge of the development of tools allowing the native execution of the business rules engine into the .NET Platform. The source code was in written Java and must be translated into C# source code. The Eclipse plug-in allowing that automatic translation has been open-sourced and used by other companies.
• Translation and adaptation to .NET of the ILOG business rules engine ILOG (BRMS "Rules for .NET").

In a small research team, with both engineer and Ph.D., we have developed the SmartTools factory (Schlumberger/Bull/Microsoft partnership), a generator of IDE for Domain Specific Language. Started from abstract and concrete specifications of a domain specific language (syntax, semantic and grammar), the tool generates all what you need to work with that language (parser, compiler, IDE).
