As a sound recordist, I ensured the highest audio quality during the interview at Fondation Luma in Arles, France, capturing every nuance of the artist's voice and the ambiance of the space. I carefully selected and positioned microphones to achieve a perfect balance between clarity and the room’s acoustics. Throughout the session, I closely monitored sound levels to prevent distortion and minimize background noise. My focus was on creating an immersive and pristine auditory experience that would enhance the depth of the artist’s insights and reflect the unique atmosphere of Fondation Luma.

For the documentary on Iran and human rights, directed by Solamz Gholami my approach to mixing and sound design focused on creating an auditory landscape that amplifies the emotional weight of the subject matter. I carefully layered dialogue, natural sounds, and music to evoke the tension, hope, and resilience of those affected. The use of ambient sounds — such as street noise, natue sound combined with protest chants— helped ground the viewer in the reality of the situation. Each element was mixed to ensure clarity and emotional impact, with sound design playing a critical role in underscoring the gravity of the human rights issues being explored. My aim was to create a soundscape that not only supports the narrative but also connects the audience deeply with the stories being told.
