À propos de Pierre

Software Engineer for over five years in the industry, I specialize in backend technologies (deployment, monitoring) and Golang programming. I've always been passionate about IT, and have been self-taught since high school.
After studying computer science at the Université Paris Saclay and then at the Ecole 42, I was able to hone my skills through a number of in-house and consultancy experiences.

My last assignment for about 2 years was with the Canal + group, where I architectured and implemented several Golang microservices, deployed on a Kubernetes AWS cluster, used by their streaming platform MyCanal, providing DAI (personalized advertising) in outgoing OTT streams.

Before that, I had the opportunity to contribute to an European research project (Horizon 2020), aimed to incentive reuse of plastic waste via a cryptocurrency deposit. I was in charge of designing and deploying decentralized applications written in Golang, using Hyperledger Fabric framework.

I also carried out a freelance mission for GaudiLabs, a Swiss-based company marketing a microbiology device. The project revolved around the need for users to edit and share their experimental protocols using the device. The open source SaaS solution created is using a Golang API, a PostgreSQL database and a React front-end application and is now in production.

Throughout these experiences, I've gained in autonomy and expertise, and I'm now looking forward to share my experience with my customers!

Implementation from scratch of a collaborative digital biology platform.

Project: Gaudilabs is an independent transdisciplinary research laboratory based in Switzerland, working mainly on microbiology and electronics.
The company markets a device named OpenDrop (Open Hardware), which enables microdroplets to be moved on an electrode grid, enabling automation of some lab work. (Lab on a chip,
    MicroFluidics)
Creation of an open-source SaaS solution enabling users to create their own microbiology protocols using OpenDrop (WebSerial API), and collaborate by publishing and modifying each other's protocols. Numerous use cases are possible: DNA sequencing, dilution, depollution, chemistry and biology operations.
The platform consists of a Golang API and a React user interface, PostgreSQL database (designed via DbDiagram.io). Implemented up to the hexagonal architecture and dependency injection standards. Automated deployment via railway.app (cloud provider) & NixPack
