As part of a strategic project for BPCE, in collaboration with TIBCO, we transformed a complex Excel-based budgeting simulator into a modern web application.
The original solution consisted of more than 20 interconnected spreadsheets containing critical business rules used to calculate service costs. The tool had become difficult to maintain, evolve, and scale.
My Role
Working within a team of two developers, I contributed throughout the entire project lifecycle, from business analysis to implementation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Reverse-engineered complex business rules from the existing Excel solution.
• Modeled and implemented configurable calculation engines and business workflows.
• Developed the web application frontend using Vue.js.
• Designed a scalable and maintainable frontend architecture.
Technical Achievements
🚀 Migrated the application from Vue 2 to Vue 3 (Composition API).
🚀 Migrated the build system from Webpack to Vite.
🚀 Introduced TypeScript and Pinia to improve maintainability and developer experience.
