Jean-Francois en quelques mots

I am a senior consultant with over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance area.
I am acting as a business analyst, process or data analyst, change management or end-to-end process mapping expert in the banking and finance industry.

I have a series of strong and recent experiences in regulatory change programmes, in particular BCBS 239 Credit Risk, AnaCredit/BECRIS, FINREP, Basel III Liquidity ratios, MiFID and EMIR Transaction Reporting, DFA data retention requirements and FATCA but also in the KYC and client on-boarding procedures and other types of transversal functions.

My role has always been that of a facilitator between the business and IT worlds, bringing business expertise, methodology and IT knowledge in important Compliance and Regulatory projects.

Before specialising in regulatory reporting and compliance topics, almost all my experiences occurred in a multi-asset class, cross-functional and cross-border environment, thus giving me:
- a clear overview of front-to-back operational processes and product life cycle,
- a good understanding of flow products and structured products offered by a bank,
- an ability to liaise with business and IT,
- a good knowledge of roles and expectations of the different stakeholders within a bank.

On a more general level I developed strong industry knowledge, consultancy skills, international experience and project lifecycle awareness during my 30 years of experience working for all types of actors within the financial industry in over 40 countries.
This translated into a strong business facing experience, a wide range of consulting roles and work with clients at various management or decisional levels.

Fluent in 5 languages and able to communicate or work in 4 additional languages, I can easily and quickly adapt to new conditions, including relocation anywhere.
