Arnaud en quelques mots
I am a French junior front end web developer based in Lisbon.
I decided to take the leap and re-orientate my career with the desire to focus on Javascript (React, Node), and recently completed an intense full time 5 month bootcamp at The Wild Code School Lisbon that ended in July 2020.
As part of the bootcamp, I worked on many challenging full stack projects of different types and formats, such as a medication reminder during a hackathon for a french start-up Doctolib and a workshop event manager application for a Lisbon based company called productized.
I learnt how to write clean efficient and readable code, but also how to make an easy connection between back and front end, using agile methodology, Git, GitHub and package managers.
I decided to make this change of career as I am a determined, adaptable and a fast learner and have experienced different positions and industries with success for the past 12 years. I undertook technical back office to office manager roles, from archives and museum storage industry to TV production and it’s always been challenging to discover and learn from others as well impart my own knowledge.
Communication, curiosity and enthusiasm keep me moving forward hence why I decided to change career and fully commit to the coding world and feel excited about the future prospects.
